As I am in a life transition of sorts, I think that I’m going to change this blog, drop the domain name, and add a gallery. Most people are on Instagram or Facebook these days anyway. Plus, there is a truly repugnant blog out there now called slowly she turned dot com where this man…

My old Kindle connects to the wifi but no longer connects to the Bluetooth keyboard. My new Kindle connects to the Bluetooth keyboard but not to the wifi. My laptop does not connect to the wifi any more. Suffice it to say, I am very frustrated. Hopefully I will get back to blogging soon.

This is day three of my week without social media or news. I suppose that some people would count blogging as social media but I have so little interaction with people here I generally think of it as an online journal and personal portal. If you have followed me through the years you might know…

I can’t upload to Flickr right now and I’ve been worried for a while about the change in ownership of the platform. I have so many photos on it – over 10K – and over the years I have linked here to my photos stored there. I would be wrecked if the platform changed its…

I’m very happy to report that after months of simply not being able to make myself weave “Cathedral” I am in the studio enjoying it very much. However, my laptop is pretty much kaput. I’m blogging on my Kindle now, which I am not fond of doing, but I want to finish my project of…

I’ve decided to blog every day for the month of December. We’ll see how it goes. Usually this means that I’ll write it the night before I publish it, because of logistics I won’t go into. If nothing else, I’ll post a photo. I’ve been posting on Instagram lately, and I’m going to pay more…

I’ve spent so much time farting around with trying to get my laptop back into adequate working condition that the coffee is nearly gone and I have been resigned to tapping this out with two fingers on my Kindle, which I hate. I am one of the last secretaries; I prefer typing on a normal…
